Performance analysis of three-phase PWM rectifiers for high power quality applications

چکیده
In the past few years problems like harmonic pollution or waveform distortion became more important as the load nature changed. The typical linear loads have been progressively replaced by non-linear ones, where rectifier systems have a great importance. A wide variety of industrial applications such as variable speed drives and most of power electronics’ converters use uncontrolled rectifiers as a primary stage of the conversion. The highly distorted currents absorbed by these systems may result in voltage distortion, which spreads the problem to other equipments or even to other energy consumers.
